Pump Scout Terms of Use

1. Acceptance and Service

By using Pump Scout, you agree to these Terms. Pump Scout provides fuel prices, EV charging information, routing tools, community features, Scout Hall, widgets, alerts, and related functionality. Availability and accuracy may vary by place, provider, and time.

2. Accounts

Pump Scout may create an anonymous account for service functions and usage limits. If you choose Sign in with Apple, that account may be linked to your Apple identity. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and account.

Community contributions and Scout Hall participation may require Sign in with Apple. Account deletion is available in Settings and is permanent.

3. Eagle Scout Subscriptions

Eagle Scout is an auto-renewable subscription purchased through the App Store. Payment is charged to your Apple ID. Subscriptions renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel through App Store Subscriptions. Prices and available benefits may change with notice as required.

4. Ads and Rewarded Searches

Pump Scout may display advertising and may offer additional searches after completion of a rewarded advertisement. Attempts to manipulate advertising, rewards, access limits, or service requests may result in restricted access.

5. Location and Route Planning

Location use is optional except where proximity is necessary to validate a community contribution. Route Scout provides estimates and suggested fuel stops; it is not a substitute for safe driving, vehicle monitoring, official navigation, or your own judgment. Conditions, closures, availability, and fuel needs can change.

6. Community and Scout Hall

Community contributions, confirmations, usernames, points, rankings, badges, streaks, and awards are subject to moderation and anti-abuse rules. Pump Scout may reject, remove, correct, rename, or restrict content and activity that is inaccurate, automated, duplicated, abusive, misleading, or inconsistent with fair use.

Scoring and achievement rules may evolve and may be corrected or reset when fraud, abuse, or data errors are identified.

7. Acceptable Use

You may not interfere with Pump Scout, bypass limits, spoof location, automate abusive activity, manipulate community features, infringe rights, impersonate others, or reverse engineer the service except where applicable law expressly permits it.

8. Data Accuracy and Disclaimers

Fuel prices, charger details, station information, routes, amenities, hours, and community data are provided “as is.” Pump Scout does not guarantee accuracy, availability, completeness, or fitness for a particular trip or purpose.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pump Scout is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of the app or reliance on its data.

10. Changes and Contact

These Terms may be updated as Pump Scout evolves. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
